MCP server
Answer inventory questions inside an AI assistant.
The Sakneen MCP server exposes read-only tools that let an AI assistant query real inventory and market data: search_inventory, get_project, get_developer and get_market_stats. It follows the Model Context Protocol, so any MCP-compatible client can connect with a scoped token.
Tools
| Tool | Purpose | Returns |
|---|---|---|
| search_inventory | Find units matching a brief — budget, area, bedrooms, delivery year, district | Matching unit records with availability and published price |
| get_project | Look up one project or phase | Project metadata, unit mix, release state, delivery years |
| get_developer | Look up a developer | Developer profile and the projects it publishes |
| get_market_stats | Aggregate market statistics | Published absorption, price-per-metre and unit-mix aggregates, subject to the index methodology |
All tools are read-only. Nothing in the MCP surface can hold, reserve, price or modify a unit.
What a client sees
Exactly what the token is entitled to. A developer's own token sees its full inventory; a brokerage's token sees the projects it is authorized on; an unauthenticated client sees only what a developer has explicitly published publicly.
Aggregate market statistics follow the published index methodology, including its suppression rules — a query that would expose a small cell returns nothing rather than an estimate.
Connecting
Contact Sakneen for MCP access and configuration guidance. Sakneen Pro includes five MCP seats; the connection and permissions depend on your workspace.
Frequently asked questions
- Is the MCP server live?
- Not yet publicly. This page documents the tool surface ahead of release; connection details will be published here and linked from llms.txt when it is available.
- Can it write to Sakneen?
- No. Every tool is read-only by design. Holding or reserving a unit requires an authenticated user in the product, not an assistant.
- Do we need a Sakneen account to use it?
- For inventory queries, yes — access is scoped to entitlements. Aggregate market statistics that a developer has consented to publish are available without a customer account.
