Privacy policy
Sakneen processes two categories of personal data: the contact details of the people who use our software, and the client data our customers store in it. For the first we are the controller; for the second we are a processor acting on our customer's instructions.
Draft: this document describes Sakneen's intended practice and has not been reviewed by counsel. It must not be relied on as a binding agreement until legal review is complete and this note is removed.

Your rights
- Access
- Ask what personal data we hold about you and receive a copy.
- Correction
- Ask us to correct data that is wrong or incomplete.
- Deletion
- Ask us to delete data we no longer have a lawful basis to keep.
- Objection
- Object to processing based on our legitimate interests.
- Where we are a processor
- Requests about data held on a customer's behalf are forwarded to that customer, who decides.
Retention and sharing
We keep account and usage data for as long as the account is active and for the period afterwards set out in our agreement with the customer. Customer client data is deleted or returned on termination, on the schedule in the data processing agreement.
We share data with the sub-processors needed to run the service — hosting, communications and payment infrastructure — and with nobody else. We do not sell personal data.

- That developer is the controller of its own client data. Send the request to them, or to hello@sakneen.com and we will forward it.
