Data processing agreement
This agreement governs Sakneen's processing of personal data on a customer's behalf. It sets out what we process and why, the security we apply, the sub-processors we use, how breaches are notified, and what happens to the data when the agreement ends.
Draft: this document describes Sakneen's intended practice and has not been reviewed by counsel. It must not be relied on as a binding agreement until legal review is complete and this note is removed.

Sub-processors and transfers
Sakneen uses sub-processors for hosting, communications and payment infrastructure. Customers are notified before a new sub-processor is engaged and may object on reasonable grounds.
Request the applicable sub-processor list, hosting regions and transfer terms from Sakneen before executing a data processing agreement.
Security and breach notification
Security measures are described on the platform security page and form part of this agreement. Sakneen notifies the customer without undue delay after becoming aware of a personal data breach affecting that customer's data, with the information the customer needs to meet its own obligations.
