WhatsApp is the sales floor
In the Egyptian property market the negotiation, the follow-up and the referral all happen on WhatsApp. Any system that requires a salesperson to leave that conversation to check availability or issue an offer is competing with the conversation, and it loses.
The tool a salesperson actually uses
Ask a developer's sales team where a deal lives and the answer is a chat thread. The unit list is a forwarded PDF, the payment plan is a photo of a page, the sub-agent is in a group, and the client's objection was voiced in a voice note at eleven at night.
That is not a failure of discipline. It is where the client is, and a salesperson who insists on moving the conversation elsewhere loses the client to one who does not.
What this implies for software
It implies the software has to arrive in the thread. Not as a notification that something happened in another application, but as an assistant that answers an availability question in the conversation where it was asked, and issues the offer the client is waiting for.
It also implies the record has to be trustworthy in real time, because there is no verification step between the assistant's answer and the client reading it.
The consequence for adoption
Sales tools fail on adoption rather than on capability. Meeting the team where they already work is why a customer's whole sales team uses Sakneen weekly rather than logging in before a manager's review.
